Relationships of Love
As a network we are deeply persuaded to community and mission by the love Jesus demonstrated to us. We cultivate friendships as a testimony of the presence of the Holy Spirit that is present in our lives. Image It is this love in community that constitutes the church as the people of God. To give our lives for our friends’ means much more than dying for them, it means living proactively in ways in order to be a blessing to our neighbors. Our mission is to live and share life in our present context of death and suffering in which we live as Latin Americans. We appeal to the liberating imagination possible through life in Christ, to instill hope and the practice of constructive and creative alternative communities. We encourage forgiveness and reconciliation from the life of the church and in community we denounce injustice while pronouncing the possibility of the abundant life in Christ.

Relationships of Grace
God has given us life and life to the fullest by His limitless grace. His love comes from his very nature as God and as a result of his initiative towards us and his creation that he blesses and gives of himself to us in love. It is in this way as well that he calls us into His mission, to serve and love on another by His grace. We carry out the mission from relationships of mutual enrichment, and we realize that God loves us through the act of loving as expressed by our brothers and sisters in Christ. Our relationships based on His grace lead us to search for creative ways in which we can become a blessing to those around us. We do not preach cheap grace, we are aware that to love our neighbor from the grace that operates in the world today, Image a world marked by the ideology of the market and capitalism, is a reactionary message. Thus we also trust fully in the provision of God and live in the Kingdom according to His Justice.

Incarnational Mission to the excluded
In Del Camino Network we understand that no life practices are divorced from contemporary paradigms or frameworks. Therefore we promote the incarnational approach to our mission… following Jesus in our contexts and in response to the most urgent needs and problems. As Jesus chose to live and serve among the poor, we also elect to serve among the marginalized and excluded, sharing in their sufferings and dreams.
As a prophetic function, Del Camino Network seeks to denounce injustice in society and promote hope as people of the Kingdom of God. We share this hope by “being community” and by testifying by our message that there is the possibility of a better world under the sovereignty, justice, and love of God as we become alternative communities of faith.

Life in the Kingdom
As a network we also announce and practice life in the Kingdom of God. We proclaim the sovereignty of God and His love for His creation. We look for those who are practicing peace and justice according to what the Bible teaches about His Kingdom. By confessing that Jesus is our Lord (or King), we are saying that we have no other Lords or idols. Part of the work we do in communities is to unmask idols that have been created as a justification for the death and destruction that exists -even by the evangelical church. It is important to be faithful to the incarnational understanding of the Gospel and share the Good News that the joy that comes from Jesus being the Savior of the World is that He is actively restoring everything in it -not saving us from it.

"Network" as Mission
We are a “network” because it is a good way to live out what Jesus teaches on love, Image freedom, and equality. But, above all, because as such, we see each other as a “work of God” from whom we want to learn. The network has the peculiarity of being mutually interdependent, but at the same time recognizing each other’s freedoms and uniqueness. We do not promote the imitation or the imposition of worldly models. To the contrary, we celebrate and learn from our diversity, and together we serve God through His amazing grace. What unites us as a network is our commitment to faithfully following Jesus. As we follow Jesus on the Way, we recognize the different gifts and talents, as well as spirituality and wisdom, manifested in each of the members of the network that allows for mutual edification and growth in our life and mission together in the Kingdom.

"Christian worship that is not an expression of an entire work and life of commitment to service, compassion, and social justice is an act of hypocrisy”.
